ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Ayisha Benham holds an Ed. D., M. Div., and MBA, and currently working as a virtual RSP teacher and case manager.

As a credentialed Education Specialist, she employs the latest state-of-the-art techniques, infuses culturally relevant pedagogy, and technology within her curriculum specifically designed to reach African American male students as well as all students to develop their higher-order thinking skills.

Additionally, Dr Ayisha is an ordained Itinerant Elder (Superannuated) and former Senior Pastor (10 years) at Wright Chapel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church in San Francisco.

She is grateful to God to be a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt. Dr. Ayisha tutors and helps her grandchildren with their school work using Face Time.

Dr. Ayisha has taught various pedagogy techniques to educators across the United States and serves the AME Church in various positions, particularly Women In Ministry, and is the Fuller Theological Seminary Alumni Regional Contact person for the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area
